Lovely, why we read Kleypas still, right? I just thought the pacing was weird or it coulda been 5.

This book could also be known as Jane Austen Did Have a Happily Ever After and Married a Reform Rouge. Okay, Sara is not exactly Jane Austen. Instead of writing witty commentaries on society, she writes gritty books about undesirables that might even have Dickens blush. And she’s out researc...

This is the second book in the "Gambler's Series". I just love Lisa Kleypas and her books. This is a new cover on an older book that is being reintroduced to us. I missed this book the first time around and was so glad that I got the chance to read it this time. Lisa Kleypas books are standalone...
A History Nut's Romantic State of Mind
The male lead is a great character. Very believable and very real. The female lead is so so. The story itself is the typical bad boy gets redemption through his relationship with the good girl. But very touching story.

This story is not too bad. However, it will be a forgetable book, nothing that worth while.Oh SEP! You have ruined me! Now all expectations in romance are so high, none can live up to her standards. Thats why this book is alright, and not memorable.

The hero and heroine from Then Came You, Alex and Lily played a large role here and they both appear so lovey dovey. Maybe I will check out ...

2.5 stars. not for me.Nothing I haven't read before. The separation between Derek and Sara felt forced. I loved how Kleypas payed special attention to portraying the gap between the social classes, I love Derek and where he comes from, and what he had to go through to achieve his goals in life ( eve...

I love this little series (do two books make a series?). They are sweet stories with some sexy lovin, dangerous adventure, beautiful dresses and possessive, rich guys. What's not to like?Once I met all of the central players I pretty much had this story figured out but I like Kleypas' characters s...
