David Sedaris is the kind of author that makes me get all of his books before I finish the first. Witty, funny and a little sad. It makes me appreciate my family even more.
This is too funny to read in a library or on an airplane. Be prepared to ROTF and LOL
Thank God for David Sedaris' humor. This book helped pull me out of the funk I was in after reading Missoula. I love his dry and self deprecating humor and while I don't like this one as much as Me Talk Pretty One Day I still really enjoyed this.
Classic Sedaris. This collection focuses a lot on his family, as well as domestic themes. I laughed quite a bit, as well as nodding in commiseration. This book also includes one of my favorite essays, Possession, which I think of whenever I'm house/apartment hunting. A quick and enjoyable read.
