This was rough to read. It was full of characters I like, and everything was promising to lead somewhere big, and I am excited to see what's going to happen. I am enjoying seeing the Bone Hunters again, and happy that Brys Beddict has a decent sized role in this book. There were other characters...

Dust of Dreams follows in the tradition of Reaper's Gale in finally pulling more of the Malazan plotlines together. Although this book is the first half of the finale, and you definitely want to have The Crippled God on hand, it also stands alone very well, and answers a lot of the age old Malazan ...
