Dustin Bilyk was born in Lloydminster, Canada to a loving, blue-collar family that produced a fine stock of well-bred and strong children. Unfortunately, Dustin was not among them, and after a short-lived jaunt through several sports and other activities, Dustin chose reading and writing as his everything and never looked back. His first book "Tournament of Hearts: The Librarian Gladiator" was written shortly after winning The 2013 Novelist international writing competition. It is a fast-paced, story-based work of speculative fiction - a genre in which he has made a name for himself. Dustin continues to write, and plans to release the next novel in the Librarian Gladiator series in the Winter of 2015.
