I liked this story but it was kind of slow going with too much character background, lots of mental speculation and event analysis but the ending was exciting for both romance and action. Butler Sarah catches burglars and detective Cahill comes to investigate.a
So I dunno why I didn't like this book more. I don't feel like it made an impression on me at all. No wait. I'm remembering now.The grande finale. There are things about this book I like a lot. I find the idea of the female protagonist being a butler / bodyguard quite intriguing, I really enjoyed the interplay between her and her employers. I didn't much like the antagonist, he was almost a caricature of what a villain should be. From the few...
One of her better new ones. I liked the characters in this one - even if I thought the hero deserved a hard kick in the 'nads.
