Dr. Earle Williams, II, Psy.D., is a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience. Originally from Newport News, Virginia, Dr. Williams moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where he earned a Doctor of Psychology-Clinical degree from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. After relocating back to Virginia in 1987, Dr. Williams started working at Eastern Shore State Hospital. First, he served as a staff psychologist. In 1988 Dr. Williams moved up to senior psychologist where he was responsible for the Intermediate Intensive Care Program. He then was promoted to Acting Director of Psychology and Supervisory Psychologist. At the University of Virginia, Dr. Williams earned a certification in Forensic Psychology with advanced training in forensic evaluation from the Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy. Dr. Williams taught as an adjunct faculty professor at The College of William and Mary.As a consultant to The Barry Robinson Child and Family Guidance Clinic, he performed psychological testing and family psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. In his private practice, he offered forensic evaluations on criminal defendants for Circuit Court as well as Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. For WAVY-TV 10, an NBC affiliate, Dr. Williams has illustrated different personality constellations of criminals as a criminal profiler. Presently, Dr. Williams appears on the Health-Watchers program describing various psychological conditions and points of interests such as Bullying Behaviors of Adolescents and Positive Psychology. For television, Dr. Williams has illustrated different personality constellations of criminals for local TV stations in the Tidewater Virginia area. In addition to his many achievements listed above, Dr. Williams has written two books, Psychology from Scripture and Oh, So You Think You've Grown. He has also written seven training manuals: Treatment for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder Treatment for Oppositional Defiant Disorder Understanding Asperger's Syndrome Aggression: Understanding, Treatment and Behavior Plan The Treatment of Adolescent Sex Offenders Normalcy vs Delinquency Bullying and Aggression Treatment for Children and Adolescents Dr. Williams has instructed numerous workshops for private and public organizations. Dr. Williams communicates with others in his field through The Association of Black Psychologists and The American Association of Christian Counselors. While his successful careers keep him busy, Dr. Williams also enjoys spending time with his wife Maxine and their two children Toureia and Earle III.
