I had wanted to read Earthbound from the moment I read the synopsis. I read Pike’s Wings a few years ago, and I really liked it. So I knew that I liked her work, and thought that she would do this story justice. And she did. It’s just not the story I thought it was. I thought that Earthbound would...
“This is your chance to save the human race. You’re going to give it up to spend a couple of years with a guy you just met?” “Is it worth the risk?” “Yes,” I insist. God save us all. My life. My family and friends' lives. Billions of souls on Earth, all endangered because of one girl's insipid, stup...
This one just wasn't for me. :/ It's not that it was bad, I just never really felt 'pulled in' to the story. I don't think I will continue reading this series.
The cover of author Aprilynne Pike’s Earthboundhad me totally judging the book by its cover. With such a beautiful cover, it looked like the type of novel that would be an awesome read until the very end. Luckily that is exactly what Earthboundis. It’s a fun, thrilling and romantic read that kept me...

I especially loved the dynamic between Tavia and Benson, the cute, slightly nerdy librarian she befriend...

The plot of the book is brilliant. I love how in an instant, the reader is moving with the plot, feeling every depth of e...
I am actually pretty surprised with this book. I was really interested in the outcome, and while the twists were pretty predictable, I was having a good time reading it. There is enough action throughout to keep it interesting until the end. I will definitely be reading the next in the series.
