Gah. Why did Sandford even write this mess of a book?! It made zero sense plot wise, the development of characters was flushed down the toilet, and really we had pages and pages of Lucas angsting over sleeping with someone that had sex (willingly) with her own brother. I just needed a bleach bath af...
While I would not rank this entry up with the best books in the series (too much relationship angst) it was still well worth listening to since Richard Ferrone did his usual stellar job with the narration.
I've been away from the Prey series and three pages in Sandford had me right back in the saddle. Lucas and the gang are back and better then ever.
Sandford books kinda run together in the characters but are always worth the time. They are just fun to read. Since I have family in the area, it makes it fun to visit and imagine the action.
