Listened to this after reading and both were after watching the film. To be brutally honest my favourite experience was the film. An Arab diplomat goes on adventures in northern viking lands and the events of Beowulf unfold, It's an interesting look at the story and the adventures that they have....

This was a great effort from Michael Crichton.

Short book but good. Interesting in that it's supposed to be based on a real travelers diaries.

[book:Eaters of the Dead]: 2.5 starsI've only ever actually seen Crichton's work - The Andromeda Strain (the original, not the remake), Jurassic Park, The Great Train Robbery and The 13th Warrior (based on Eaters) - and, technically, I still haven't read him. Based on this novel, I'll still not be r...
