I love everything Ed Young does, and I like this folktale. It’s simple but makes you think about the bigger picture.

by Ed Young I've liked Ed Young's work since I read Lon Po Po earlier this year. Beyond the Great Mountains is a very simple story, but the concept and artwork are great. I love the way he integrated the characters into each image.

Wonderful poems, as enjoyable as they are informative, describe the extreme habitats that are home to a variety of birds, fish, mammals, and insects. Illustrated with stunning abstract collage art by Ed Young.
