Eddy Krygiel is a registered architect, and a LEED Accredited Professional, with almost 20 years of architectural experience. Eddy’s background includes many facets of design, construction documentation and construction administration. As a Principal Business Consultant with the AEC team with Autodesk Consulting, Eddy focuses on BIM and technology workflows for Architectural, Engineering, and Construction clients. He has almost twenty years of experience in architectural offices and on a range of projects from single family residential to office, federal, civic, and aviation clients. Eddy has helped firms around the country at a firm level and project level. His most recent project is the Mexico City Airport where he has the role of managing the BIM Office for the new $9B greenfield airport. The BIM role involves crafting the model standards and workflows for the new airport from design through operations and maintenance. The final deliverable to the airport is a facility management ready BIM model for both vertical and horizontal assets Eddy held a similar role on the Denver International Airport that opened its new Transit and Hotel Center in 2015. He has lead or been involved on other large scale projects which have taken BIM beyond documentation including San Diego International Airport, Chicago Transit Authority’s Wilson Station, GSA’s National Nuclear Security Administration campus, and 49ers’ Levi Stadium.
