What I liked:A cute m/m story What I didn't like:Ending wasn't unexpected.Devin seemed to be the more practical of the two shifters, yet he walks into the den of the enemy pack with just a guy for backup. Weak plot to bring the two shifters together.

That was kind of awful. Corey did not act Alpha at all. Devlin came on too damn strong. Too much emphasis on the "fated mates" and not enough on true relationship development.

2.5 starsLike most short stories this one developed quickly. I didn't feel any emotional attachment for the MC's and the events unfolding occurred quickly. It was interesting learning about how Kilian became a shifter but the story just didn't grab me the way I wanted it to.
