Award-winning children’s author Edith Hope Fine writes books kids love to read. Her “Sleepytime Me” just won a 2015 Paterson Prize. She and Alphy, the Microcyanosaurus, celebrate her new “Greek and Latin for Cryptomaniacs!”—an inviting student workbook with 300 Greek and Latin roots to pair with her book “Cryptomania!” Other popular titles: “Under the Lemon Moon,” “Water, Weed, and Wait,” and “Armando and the Blue Tarp School.” Her biographies for young readers on Gary Paulsen and Barbara McClintock are now available as ebooks. And if you long to write for children, check out Edith’s “Jump, Froggies! Writing Children’s Books, 89+ Beginners’ Tips” (both paperback and ebook). Always on blooper patrol, she co-authored the two “Nitty-Gritty Grammar” books (the Grammar Patrol blogs monthly at eFrogPress.com). Edith lives in California where’s she’s active in SCBWI, a rabid recycler, bibliophile, and geeky logophile. And yes, she’s working on teleporting. (www.edithfine.com, www.cryptokids.com)
