A book that shows the darkness in human nature, and how quickly everything you ever learned in "civilized" society can be thrown out the window if the opportunity arises. I believe that the same situation could happen if they were adults, but they weren't, so it only assisted the eerie helplessness ...
If a teen is reading this please give the story time to unfold. It's well worth it.
