I am digging this whole series. The stories are just so good, and the writing so simple, without being infantile or boring. Have 4 through 9 on my shelf waiting to be read!
Light fun, but it didn't hold together as well as Tears of the Giraffe. Smith has trouble keeping his characters consistent and showing their changes over time. I definitely like these books for the view into Botswana rather than the mysteries (they aren't particularly mysterious anyway).
Once again Mma. Ramotswe goes on with common sense and much kindness to solve the problems presented to her. An easy, quick and fun read.
