Elaine C. Markowicz has written various books in various genres; her favorite being horror. She started to love it when as a little girl her father took her to see Dracula, Wolfman, Dr. Jekyl & Mr. Hyde, etc. That love continued through her teen years with Dark Shadows. Ms. Markowicz knew she wanted to be a writer since the age of nine. While most girls at eleven years old were getting dolls for their birthday, Elaine was getting a typewriter. She's been putting stories to paper ever since.Her first self-published book was TENDER TEMPTATION: a romantic short. Since then she's published: SECRET OF EVERGREEN (romance), BRIDE OF THE BLOOD MOON (horror), THE CLEARING (horror), HALLOWED HALLS OF CROMWELL CASTLE (horror). Books soon to be published: WAR OF THE WITCHES (series-horror), LURE OF BLOOD (horror), IMMORTAL BLOOD, BLOOD LUST, BLOOD FEUD (trilogy-horror) and DAUGHTER OF DESIRE, (part 1-romance), Burning Embers (part two-romance).She went to The Art Institute to study Video Production and film. She presently lives in Philadelphia with her husband and sons.
