Although, I've been writing everything from poems to short stories as far back as I can remember, my writing career didn't officially began until my first book, Love's Inferno, was published by BET Books back in 2005. I grew up in Detroit, did a little traveling including a few years in the Army, and ended up right back where I started. I have a "day job" as an administrative assistant. I have always been and will always be first a reader, then a writer. I enjoy visiting places I've never been, listening to people with ideas different from mine, and most of all creating imaginary worlds!
