The Faraway Fairies series of thirteen books was made the Australian list of Books Alive, the top 50 books you can't put down, sponsored by the Australian Government. These 50 books are chosen by the Australian Government from all the books in the world and narrowed down to fifty books in total to read for children and adults.The Dragon Blood Pirates series (written as Dan Jerris) has 18 titles and is a best selling boys series, released in Great Britain, Brazil and Turkey. The entire series made the Premier of New South Wales, reading list for 2013. This reading list encourages all school children in New South Wales, Australia, to read the books listed. She was also chosen as the Premier of Tasmania's ambassador Reading Challenge in 2015 and visited many schools in the state.Eleanor also lectured in communications at Canberra University and was awarded a Distinguished Alumni Award for her work as the author of many successful children's books and children's games.In 2013, two new children's books were added to her publishing success. Arky Steele, The Guardian of the Tomb and Arky Steele, The Cursed City. These books have been translated into French and Turkish and sold in the respective countries.She has now written two adult novels, Dragon's Pearl and Burying Ground Point.
