I expect certain things when I read a Stephanie Plum novel... I expect Stephanie to be awful at her job, I expect her to wreck or blow up at least one car, I expect her to love Morelli and be freaked out about commitment, I expect her to be in lust with Ranger and freaked out about that, I expect Gr...

I enjoyed many of the Stephanie Plum series when I was a teenager and young adult. However, now that I'm older and have read a few of the more recent additions, I'd have to say I'm a little disappointed. There hasn't been much character development or movement forward. That old magic may not be gone for them, but for me...Glad to see that Joyce Barnhart's name is right after at least 2 books call...

"Stephanie, I'm begging you. Eat some doughnuts. I can't keep going like this." (p. 276)This book started slow; the change in the basic premise regarding Stephanie was not my favorite idea. I can see though after ten novels that it was probably a good move, just to shake things up a bit. And boy did...

I love this series of novels, I'm completely addicted and Janet Evanovich can do no wrong in my eyes as far as Stephanie Plum is concerned. I've had a break from the series because I had read a few back to back and was getting a little tired but coming back to it now I loved this novel as much as al...
