For some reason I bogged down maybe 1/3 of the way through. I don't know why. Then I picked it up again and it just sailed right along. I respect the way MacLean works with older romantic tropes, making them fresh, interesting, and enlightening even.Library copy

Both hero and heroine are seriously infuriating but then, they are likable enough. I couldn't help but agreed that they are perfect for each other. You know, with all intense attra...

I really enjoy Sarah MacLean's writing style. I wish I had read this before A Rouge By Any Other Name, because I felt bad for Penelope, but otherwise I liked it.

Juliana and Simon were a treat. I liked her free spirit and their smart banter.
