Steampunk isn't one of my favorite genres, but it might just become one if all books are just like this one. I've heard a lot of great things about Kova's books, and I've decided to give this one a try. There's something incredibly magical about this book, and it's truly amazing to experience. First...

I have to say I really enjoyed this sequel to The Alchemists of Loom! It had everything I look for in a sequel, compelling character development and riveting plot progression. I liked the Alchemists of Loom, but I LOVED The Dragons of Nova. I am so happy we got a better view of Nova in this one...

The only thing that threw me off at first was it wasn't exactly clear that the dragons were not actually huge...

"There was something severed and rough about her, something tainted and, yet at the same time those jagged pieces were the makings of something fearsome. She'd wanted to become something the Senate would fear. Why not shatter the sky?" I loved this story! Air Awakens was great, but Fire Falling ...

I really enjoyed this story! I loved the idea that this shy little librarian had this extremely big and exciting magic just laying in wait inside of her. I was quite surprised just how she really came about accepting that, aka the plunge lol. I mean, wow. That is not likely something I will forget f...

I am very happy to present my stop on the Alchemists of Loom blog tour run by Xpresso Book Tours. I have been a fan of Elise Kova and her other series, Air Awakens, for a while now. So, I jumped on the chance to read this book, as you definitely should too. If you are a fan of fantasy, dragons, and ...

There was a lot of highlighting going on...A LOT...I personally feel like you can't get an accurate grip on the book's tone/awesomeness/horrific mess if you don't get to ingest snippets of the author's thoughts verbatim. Soooooo be prepared for a lengthy, unabridged, quote filled, fangirl review.......
