I couldn't do it. Could not make it even half way. I'm not sure if it was the narrator, the abundunce of minor details, or the lack of a plot but it was so boring it was putting me to sleep. I might try the book at some point, though, so I'm not giving up entirely.
Rather tedious writing, with an overabundance of facts presented as character's thoughts, and not very well.
This book was not a page-turner in the sense that The Other Boleyn Girl was. However, I did do all the work to finish it because I love reading about the Tudors and especially Elizabeth I. Argh, this book just landed at the library and not in the mood to read it now. I'm thinking of passing until later, have too many staring at me as it is.
