The book held my attention from beginning to end. The reader was pretty effective, although at times she seemed to be in the wrong character’s speaking voice. Her expression was excellent, however.The narrative was sharp and very descriptive presenting a clear picture of a young woman on death row. ...

We begin the novel almost at the end of the life of Noa P. Singleton. Noa in six months will be executed for a murder she committed.
