I read most of this book with my mind in a state of perpetual "huh?" Why did she do that? Why did he say that? Nobody acts like this! I had to jump from Desperate Duchesses to this book, skipping all the others in the middle as I wanted more of Jemma and Elijah. I was happy to read this book as I am such a sucker for the happy ending and long lost love.
