Emily McCosh is a fiction writer, student, sarcasm addict and sometimes-poet hailing from the land-of-no-rain (aka Southern California). She has loved fantasy and science fiction as long as she can remember, and splits her writing time between short stories, tackling a fantasy trilogy featuring a snarky teenager and shockingly grumpy warrior king, and mulling over an idea for a sci-fi novel filled with cyborgs, black holes and general awesomeness. Her fiction has appeared or is upcoming in various publications including Daily Science Fiction, AE Micro 2016, Perihelion, and New Realm Magazine. Her poetry has been included in five anthologies, including a little piece in Ember: A Journal of Luminous Things. When not writing, she may be found wrestling her two crazy dogs or creating a new character to play with. Visit her online on twitter as @wordweaveremily or her blog/place-to-ramble at oceansinthesky.com.
