Much of the same themes as "Anne of Green Gables", but still different enough and equally lovely. I love Lucy Maud's descriptive language, she definitely had a way of describing the beautiful elements of nature. This is not one to be missed.

I've read it several times before, but it's been quite a while since my last time, so there were surprisingly many plotpoints I'd forgotten. Anne is still my favourite, but I enjoyed it more than I'd thought I would.
