This book was recommended to me by a friend and I didn't read much of the reviews so I had no idea what to expect beyond the book description. All I can say is wow... it was not at all what I expected. It was much, much more. I know it's classified as young adult but don't let that sway you when dec...
I kind of liked this premise, where in the future society is divided by personality traits and not race, religion, or economic status. Definitely a different take on the dystopian genre.
Reseña en español en Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis TertiusThis was my first audiobook and I was really lucky: Emma Galvin was an amazing performer. This book is about a world were people are divided into five factions: Abnegation (the selfless), Erudite (the intelligent), Amity (the peaceful), Candor (the hones...

Maybe there was way too much hype on this book. Maybe that made me expect too much. Maybe dystopian books just aren't for me. Whatever the reason, I wasn't thrilled with this novel like everyone else.I don't like books with their own jargon, I think. That could pose a problem for all dystopian books...
