Emmaline Torres is an albino. Not the type with lack of pigment in her hair, but lack of pigment in her eyes, which causes them to look violet. She’s spent her entire childhood being mocked for this abnormality and her entire adult life has been built around avoiding eye contact with others unless she wants to get them to stop staring. That is, until she meets Jackson Garrett. Jackson is an ex-marine who was honorably discharged for PTSD, something he’s been working on for months. His brother, Grayson, has hired him as a bodyguard for Emmaline, Rosalie Torres’ sister. Rosalie just happens to be Grayson’s long-term girlfriend and soon to be fiancée.
