When I was younger I quite enjoyed these but the suck fairy visited and shone her torch on the mysogony, hetronormativity and racism inherent in the stories. I do realise that it was there before but I had glossed over it while in pursuit of the story. A lot of the time I have bounced through a lot ...

A sweet and fitting finale to the Belgariad series :) I was just in the mood for a classical fantasy story and this is one of the best - everything turns out just as it should, with just the right amount of suffering, but with a happy end for all :)Eddings takes us on the journey and I would even ca...
This is the final book in the Belgariad series and some people seem to suggest that while it ties the whole series up nicely, apparently it still leaves some questions unanswered. Honestly, the only question that was left unanswered when I finished it was 'what happens next?' Honestly, that is one o...

They were, for the most part, uninspired. And the main character, Garion, was like an anti-Frodo. What a whin...

It would seem that this was the last book of the series. Can't say I was too impressed by it. I think I shall stick to his other series after this.
