I bought the first book years ago but now I'm really glad I waited until the last book was published before I started reading this series. After I picked up the trilogy I couldn't put it down until I'd finished the last book. It captivated me so much, I had dreams about Penryn and Paige. I loved Pen...

Wait, what? That's how it ends? It felt unsatisfying, yes things were resolved but there were a lot of hanging threads in this war between humanity and bored angels.

I kept wavering between being annoyed by the romantic tumor and cheering from the spurts of awesomeness. Mostly I was carried by the fast current of fun. Some of the swerves in the rapids were umbelivably ridiculous but it floats on the rule of epic I guess. And the quotable anvil commentary. Don'...

⭐4.5 stars⭐"Come on. Say it, Raffe." I give him a half smile. "I love it when you say Pooky Bear. It's just so perfect when it comes out of your mouth.""She might kill you in your sleep one of these days just so she can get rid of that name."

Well, that was a bit of a disappointment. The plot kind of jumped the shark, tragi-romantic mooning pretty much dominated everything, and it all felt super rushed to me. Which makes sense now that I know this series was originally going to have at least five books. A whole lot of questions were left...

I didn’t want to read this last installment of the “Penryn and the End of Days” Trilogy. For I didn’t want to say good bye to the characters that I’ve gotten attach and loved for some reason. But lately, I felt that I was starting to lose that attachment and I got worried that I would also lose inte...

This book was okay. It definitely wasn't the strongest conclusion to a trilogy that I've ever read. I didn't really like how everything was resolved. It just seemed too easy to me. There were pointless parts here and there and it was overall just an okay book.

Penryn, Raffe and Paige are on the run after an epic showdown with angels. Penryn is so tired and confused. As an archangel Raffe is a member of the invading army, yet Penryn is drawn to him. For his part, Raffe knows he is forbidden from the daughter of man and with an impending fake apocalypse ...

End of Days is the third and last installment of the Penryn and the End of Days series by Susan Ee. It is a fantastic conclusion of the trilogy. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book. I had so many feelings while reading. Like the first two books this book is full of action and fighting scenes. W...

I don't actually care for dystopian/post-apocolyptic settings and this trilogy reminded me of that and ultimately reinforced my belief that my tastes haven't changed over time. If my tastes had changed, or if I'd always been a fan, I'd have probably stuck with my original instinct to rate this more...
