This book is super dark and really sad. There's love from afar, torture, betrayal. It was hard getting through some of the book toward the end.
Awesome!Okay, there were a few instances where I thought Ari should've stayed mad at Cullen a little longer, made him pay for his idiocy... but yeah, awesome.
I really enjoyed this one, but what kept my rating down was the instant attraction and manipulation at the beginning of the book. The manipulation I get, because Cullen has a job to do, but instant attraction? Oh hell no. However, the story greatly improved after that and I'm glad I stuck with it...

This book had a very interesting plot, but also some mechanical issues that diluted my enjoyment. Several times over the course of the book I found myself back tracking to understand quick changes in direction, and many of the supporting characters weren't fleshed out enough to carry their dialogue...
