And it's doing good to get that. Lots of things, little things, annoying things, oh no you didn't things... Let's see... There's the "what do you know" and other assorted phrases in the narrative. As part of dialog, sure. Narrative? Sounds like a storyteller who's trying too hard. There's Ji...

Opening Line: "It was in the spring,on a dark April evening, when Detective Thomas DelVecchio Jr. learned that nigthmares could in fact make the jump out of the mind and into real life." As others have mentioned this is the best yet from Ward’s Fallen Angels series. She seems to have gotten the ...

I read the Finnish translation. This is part of the Fallen Angel -series and I thought this was better than the second book. The couple that came together in this book were likable characters and the annoying baddie demon was in a smaller role, I think. I guess I'm going to continue with the seri...

Despite being number three, Ward has kept this series very fresh. I wasn't expecting Veck's particular problem at all, and I'm really looking forward to the next soul.

Ward|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1355342653p2/20248.jpg]'s books, actually), there's a lot of "unusual" stuff going on about sexuality and sexual behaviors.Adrian felt the first stirrin...

★★★★Envy (Fallen Angels, #3) by J.R. Ward It took me 2 years to decide to pick this one up and read, after my disappointment with Crave, but I must say it is starting to grow on me.

This is the 3rd installment in Ward’s Fallen Angel Series and I think it is the most heart wrenching of them all. The premise of the series is that Good and Evil are having a final showdown with a mutually agreed upon “player” who is neither good nor evil, able to influence people who are at a cross...

Major series game changers happen in this one! This heroine, Riley, started out fine but pissed me off later when she doesn't trust her man...to the point that he gets into really, really big trouble because she's such a suspicious *****. Veck, the hero, has both a good and an evil side that he ha...

Police Detective Thomas DelVecchio has been living in the shadow of his infamous serial killer father for his entire life and is considered something of a loose cannon at his new job in Caldwell NY. Finding himself alone at the scene of a vicious attack on a suspected murderer, "Veck" has no memory...
