Erasmo Guerra is a writer and journalist. His personal essays have appeared in The New York Times, Texas Monthly, The Texas Observer and aired on NPR's Latino USA. His debut novel Between Dances received the Lambda Literary Award.Erasmo has been a regular contributor to the New York Daily News, AARP magazine and other publications. He has received writing fellowships from the Vermont Studio Center, the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. He is a member of the Macondo Writers' Workshop.Erasmo was born on the Texas-Mexico border and now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
