I didn't really enjoy this issue: it was all monologue, did tie up a couple storylines, but it didn't set the stage for the next story. The 'it was more like a rebirth' line at the end was lame, and made me embarrassed to be reading this. It also didn't feel like it flowed. Dialogue and les...
The singularity storyline is almost wrapped up and I see the next issue is the finale; this makes sense. The alternate Cyborg is so bitter because of one traumatic instance, and while his turn-around seems a bit abrupt, I can see it since it's hinges on one person: a person Cyborg knows and can sa...
Love what DC is doing with the mother boxes, the singularity, AI, and it's a breath of fresh air to see a doppleganger/hero gone bad without it being tied to nazis. So much fun!
The cover had something that made me want to read it. But after a recent inspection I couldn't really find what it was that sparked my interest. This graphic novel wasn't for me. It started really weird, more like the opening of a movie and it takes forever for the first text to show up. After tha...
First things first: I received an ARC through NetGalley. I couldn't really get into this whole story. I actually liked Rain, the main character but other than that, it didn't really drew me in. Sadly, cause the story sounded really good. The graphic was great, though.
Overall rating: I’ve just averaged my scores from each little individual story which would be 3 ½ stars. But I think I’ll round up to 4 Stars since the parts between each story where fun and nicely drawn. Netgalley Review. First Impression: SSOOO CUUUTTEEE!! I haven’t read any of the Mouse Gua...
Much better than last anthology, I'm a huge fan of Petersen and The Mouse Guard series.on another note I was excited to see Willingham have art and story in this anthology, but that story "The Veteran" was not for me. The ones I liked the most are listed below, but if your a fan of Petersen's Mouse ...
It's a good collection, but while the size makes for a fun reading experience early on, eventually it becomes laborious to heft around, making the over-sized format a little impractical. Unless you have a really big coffee table on which to stow it.Also, Aquaman and the entire undersea nation has ca...
Like with all anthologies, the rating is really splitting the difference. Some of the stories here were fantastic, others... not so much. The best stories were The Demon and the Catwoman (Teaming up Catwoman and Etrigan was... unexpected. It ended up being fun, even if Catwoman was largely absent in ...
