*I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Hector Savage is on death row, for a bombing he's framed for. He's received his last request and ready to game on the laptop for his last twelve hours of life. As he readies to log in, time stops and a ...

"We must not let the other family have such power over the future. We must make those children ours.” “And failing that?” “And failing that …” Lucia suddenly looked sad and tired. “Failing that, I will kill them myself This book is epic in every sense of the word. I am pleased that upon a second rea...

Evolutions is sort of a goodie bag of bonus and background scenes that we haven't gotten from the other books or the games but are linked to both. Plenty of added information that usual fans would enjoy. I'd recommend for anyone that hasn't played the games or read previous books to do so before rea...

There were less pros and more cons in the third installment of the Halo series this time. So despite the ...

Its really hard to sum up a book like this when its based on a game. If you haven't played Halo before there is no way to describe how awesome and just how much you really miss out on in the game. With the newest installment of Halo 4 (game) 343 has only just begun to break into the history and the ...

Gave up after the prologue because I don't like how it's written, I don't care about the war, and Halo is not my thing. I don't like the video game or any of its related games, so me liking this prequel was a long shot anyway.Never let your brother the massive Halo fanboy/non-reader push you into re...

Mindless but not very entertaining; really a rather dreadful little book. If I were reading a hardcopy I would have dropped it after about 50 pages.*It makes one appreciate the skills of Heinlein or Haldeman (or - by hearsay, in my case - Bujold and Scalzi) when it comes to military SF. Aside from t...

This was pretty cool. I really like the actual storyline to the Halo series as opposed to just the awesome shooting aliens and being a general bad-ass. It was really cool how John came to be Master-chief, and how it was part of an army filled with other really cool Spartans.

I skipped the Flood on accident but I didn't even notice because it takes place after the first game. It was pretty good, I preferred the first one though.
