Robert Ludlum’s (TM) The Bourne Initiative, Eric Van Lusbader, author; Holter Graham, narrator I was terribly disappointed with this book. What I, as a reader, am led to believe is that there is an effort to bring down the world’s economy by several shady figures from Russia and Somalia. It turns ou...
I love these collections. Some days it’s so hard to find time to block out the rest of the world & disappear into a great book. With these shorties, you can spend 20 minutes in your favourite hiding spot & enjoy a complete story from some of the best known thriller writers. Each is a collaboration...
The Death and Life of Nicholas Linnear: An All-New Story of the Ninja by Eric Van Lustbader is an entertaining fast-paced story to read. It captivated my attention from beginning to end. The characters are well developed & the story line is intriguing. I gave it five stars. "The sound inside ...
Out of Avalon edited by Jennifer Roberson is a collection of Arthurian short stories by various authors. One story entitled The Heart of the Hill is set in Marion Zimmer Bradley's version of Avalon and takes place sometime in the middle of The Mists of Avalon during Morgaine's training to be a pries...

Am not going to struggle on with this one. It's not a patch on his old Nicholas Linear novels and as a story in and of itself, it really does leave a lot to be desired. I got about half way through and found I was simply continuing in the hope that I could struggle through to the end. This is the po...
Most of the stories were okay. Some were very good, others I didn't like. I did like being able to try out new authors to get a feel for their writing style. Several have been added to my "To-Read" list, which seems to grow much faster than my "Read" list!
The first thing about this novel is that it could be cut in half at a minimum. There was so much unnecessary, extraneous information. The characters did not fell real. The story was convoluted. In the world of the story, the Vornn are the invaders who have taken over the planet inhabited by the Kund...
