Erica O'Rourke has worked in a variety of jobs -- library cataloger, barista, Girl Friday, English teacher, and stay-at-home mom -- but she's always been a writer, which explains (partially) why her math grades were so abysmal. Her debut novel, TORN, won the Romance Writers of America's 2010 Golden Heart Award for Best Young Adult Manuscript, and was the launch title for Kensington Books' KTeen imprint. The Torn Trilogy also includes TANGLED and BOUND (available now). Her latest series, DISSONANCE, is about a girl with the ability to walk between alternate realities, who falls for different versions of the same boy in every world she visits. A companion e-novella, HARMONIC, is also available. The sequel, RESONANCE, will be published July 22, 2015 by Simon and Schuster. When Erica is not writing, she's reading. And when she's not reading, she's probably watching Doctor Who, cooking, or spending time with her husband and three daughters just outside of Chicago.(She still doesn't like math.)

I enjoyed all its characters and their struggles and I think it's ended now. Resonance had a conclusion that had a finality about it, alth...

I enjoyed Dissonance, even though the world, or should I say worlds, I inhabited in its pages took some getting used to. It was fairly technical, and took a bit of concentration to keep up with different versions of the same place. It reminded me a bit of Inception in the level of concentration it t...

A copy of this novel was provided by Simon & Schuster Australia for review. I haven’t liked a non-space science fiction book this much in the longest time. I was captivated by Dissonance from page one to page end, and I LOVED IT. First up, though, I have to mention this. I got a little freaked o...
