ERIN DOWNING has written more than twenty-five books for adults, young adults, and kids (some as Erin Soderberg). She loves writing funny, contemporary stories filled with fun and hilarious friends, cute guys, and girls who can stick up for themselves. When she's not writing, she enjoys going out to eat with friends, watching cheesy romantic dramas on TV, and walking her adorable dog (and kids) around the lakes near her house.Before becoming a full-time writer, Erin worked as a book editor, spent a few months as a cookie inventor (but quit after she ate too many), and also worked for Nickelodeon.
