Hi, I'm Ernie Rosenberg, the author of "Amy's Best Friend, Prayers of a Child. I have a Ph.D. in psychology and a State of California teaching credential. I've done a lot of teaching, from pre-school to graduate school in the public, private, and business sectors. I helped establish one of the early special education schools in the San Francisco Bay area and have run a home for teenagers in legal difficulty. I worked quite a while in the environmental area and produced environmental education software, which was distributed by Apple Computer, Inc. in their Apple Education Series. I lived for some time in Switzerland and developed the first computer based training program adopted by the Zurich, Switzerland school system. I have two fun children and two just as fun grandchildren. I lived for seven years in a meditation ashram where prayer was one of my primary spiritual practices.
