Due to copy and paste, formatting has been lost. This book had a really peaceful ending, and I liked it better than Tantalize, but I am curious about Eternal in relation to Tantalize. They don't have the same character cast, nor do they even handle the same species of paranormal. Eternal deals with A...

I had read this book a while ago, and decided to write this review as I am currently reading the "Diabolical" ARC, which is a kind of continuation to this book. I really enjoyed this book. It was so cute, and so romantic. Kind of like a .... gothic Romeo & Juliet (which is what sold me when it ca...

Second in a series. I found parts of it interesting and parts much less so, though I did like it considerably more than the first book. [Aug. 2011]

Barely three stars. After the other YA kit I've been reading, this felt way too shallow. It us meant to be light and fuzzy but needed more depth. The play on Dracula was intriguing in s silly way but since that is probably my favorite classic I wanted more. As the second book in the Tantalize series...

I just adore the world Cynthia Smith has created. This book was just as good as the first but in different ways. While not as funny as Tantalize tended to be Eternal's plot had its own humor. You get a closer look at the hierarchy vampires (or the preferred term "Eternals") have created and it is co...

Cynthia Leitich Smith improved with this novel. I'll be honest with you... I did not enjoy Tantalize, the first book in this triology, one bit. I thought it was boring and very uneventful for the most part. This book, however, was entertaining to an extent and the characters weren't as annoying as t...

Looking at some of the other reviews I am inclined to think it is just me but this book is terrible.I did not care about Miranda nor Zachary I could not figure out why he liked her and she only seemed to like him because of his appearance. The characters and the relationship just fell flat for me.

Characters: Miranda is actually an interesting character, in that she's flawed, distant, somewhat prissy, and very complex. In the first few chapters, you see Miranda as a normal teenage girl - you hear about her issues with her parents, school, friends, and she expressed her emotions openly, in a w...

Just not in the mood for this, I guess. Everything about it bored me. Won't read any more!

Darkly enjoyable take on vampires & angelsIn Cynthia Leitich Smith's ETERNAL, guardian angel Zachary loses his charge, Miranda, to a vampire bite and falls from grace in the process. Following his punishment, Zachary finds himself indulging in a life of earthly pleasures until another angel shows up...
