For some reason I had odd expectations going into this book. I thought it was going to be more dark and eerie. There's vicious crimes, but it reads just like more like most PNR. Although, not as fluffy. I really want to continue to see what will happen next, but the next book starts with an "U" and ...
I really like the idea behind the vampire mythology, but I don't think I'll be continuing this series. I really do not like the writing style of this author and the way she jumps around.
This was a great twist on the vampire genre. The plot and story was slightly predictable, but overall it was a nice read that had a good pace and character development.
