My daughter has MS. This book was far too hard for her to do! It would be very time consuming and expensive. Plus she is tired all the time. I am trying to find something that would help her that she can do. She is 28 years old and is starting on an injectable med. If anyone has any books that help ...
This is a good basic guide to Yoga, including the spiritual aspects. Half of it focuses on the spiritual aspects (which I personally liked), and the other half focuses on the most basic and a few advanced asanas (poses). Also diagrams the Sun Salutation and Moon Salutation. This book also has some v...
I have recently started following Mediterranean diet in an attempt to eat more vegetables in a structured manner (I tend to default to bread and meat when I have no idea what to eat), and grabbed this book to get more information. I love Bethenny Frankel! But unfortunately, having said that, I am here to tell you that this book is not great. It is too bad, really, because there is a lot of material here that could make for a worthwhile read, but it is all told and not shown. It is all scattered by this weird formatting of ...
I actually prefer Yoga for Dummies because it has better step-by-step instructions and photos. This one uses drawings, so it's hard to tell what your body is supposed to look like, and the instructions aren't quite as clear as Yoga for Dummies. HOWEVER, there is a lot of valuable info in this book...
