I was actually pleasantly surprised by this prequel. After watching the show on Netflix, I assumed that this book series would feature shallow characters with an interesting twist on traditional fairy tales. The series is based on the rather clever idea of the children of famous fairy talecouples attending a school. This one is about the daughter of Snow White. Shecomes across as rather annoying and undefined as a character. She wants to be a good ruler but can’t remember names?

This was even shorter than the Briar Beauty sample. A bit juvenile, even considering the market. Read with the little one.
