God this book!! I read the book over a year ago, a good bit before the movie was released. I recently reread it just a few weeks ago. My opinion hasn't changed one bit. The book is such a lovely read! It's a very easy read. The writing style is very personal, so it was very easy to be immersed ...

I have been seeing the trailer on this movie and decided that I needed to read the book before watching it. I am so glad I did. This was one of those books that I kind of expected it to go a certain way and it kind of surprised me a bit. Maddy is sick and has no contact with the outside world except...

There was a lot I loved about Everything, Everything. While I guessed part of the twist, I didn't have it all and once I got there it put the rest of the book into a new perspective for me. At its core, this is a love story. It's about how love can make people stronger and braver than they were befo...

All I can say is wow. When I was beginning to realize what was going on with the girl in this story it threw me for a loop. like all other books I've read the ending made me smile!

It's hard to explain. The middle is a bit of a slog to get through. It was too easy to stop reading and do s...

Here is a summary of what the book is about. Risk everything... for love. What if you couldn't touch anything in the outside world? Never breathe in the fresh air, feel the sun warm your face...or kiss the boy next door? In Everything Everything, Maddy is a girl who's literally allergic to the o...

First off, I did like the writing except for the twist and I loved the illustrations in the book which made it jump off the page more for me. But I ultimately found this book boring and there was not enough information for me to make me happy with certain characters and their development. When we do...
The Reading Perusals of Rose Summers
Quick review for a quick read. So I have complicated feelings about this book. I liked it, but that's not to say that I didn't feel like there were issues that needed addressing more thoroughly (and the fact it has quite more than enough problematic points to articulate in the mix of things). This b...
