When she's not writing novels, Davis dispenses advice to some of the country's largest corporations, non-profits and institutions as a political consultant and co-owner of a San Francisco-based public affairs firm. Davis also serves on the board of the Litquake Foundation, San Francisco's iconic literary festival. She is a member of the Paranormal Romance Guild and the Association of Independent Authors. In 2014 Davis founded Flesh & Bone, an independent publishing imprint. Her writing has also been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, Book Country and Searching for Superwoman.
