President Ryan deserved a much better book, Tom Clancy. Not one of the better "Ryanverse" novels, I think this is the one that got me to stop reading Clancy.

Tom Clancy kills off everyone so that Jack Ryan can bravely lead the world the way it needs to be lead. while I understand the appeal of doing away with politics, I was seriously squicked, and not in a happy Mars Attacks kind of way.
