F.J. Bergmann frequents Wisconsin, and writes poetry and science fiction, often simultaneously. An eclectic background, including a childhood spent partly in France and partly in Hell, has produced mixed results. A previous life was spent working with horses. Educational attainments include a B.S. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, certificates in web design and development, and Viable Paradise XII. Bergmann is currently the poetry editor of Mobius: The Journal of Social Change, and editor of Star*Line, the journal of the Science Fiction Poetry Association.
