This was where I originally left 'Fables' behind. It was more of the same, and I didn't feel the character development or the story at all at the time.Rereading it, I can appreciate the broad strokes rendered with 'Bag of Bones', where Jack cheats death, 'Barleycorn Brides' and 'A Two-Part Caper' wh...

The third volume of the Fables series starts with a story on Jack's history since coming to the Americas before continuing with the story where we left off. Snow White is still recovering from Goldilock's attack leaving the Wolf in charge. When a muddy threatens to reveal their secret existence Bigb...

It's smart, adult and has a distinctive art style, which while not the glossy art I've loved in other works, adds its own special ton...

Aaaah I'm at the end of my stash of gifted Fables. I liked Storybook Love a lot; it felt BIGGER than the first two volumes, and covered more ground, so there wasn't a lot of stalling going on.I did have a slight issue with some of the art: there's a section of the book that's especially Bigby-heavy ...

Is this the one where Snow and Bigby are magicked into an act of what is essentially mutual rape, which then results in Snow's pregnancy? Because I hated that one.
