Holy crap, that was bleak. Well-written, but DUDE. Fables has gone to the dark side. I don't think I like it.

The artwork is still fantastic, but less enthused by the overall story.
DNF. 3-stars for quality and such good writing I can hardly bare to read it in comic form. Fables is just too much for my simple graphic novel mind. I will give credit where it's due though, and Bill Willingham's long-running Fables is a great example of quality comics. Just not my bag...
