I fear for when I finish the Fables series. I love it that much. I am glad there are some spin-off series that I can enjoy, although I'm not too in love with Jack as a character, so I probably won't read that one until I'm desperate. However, when I looked on Bill Willingham's website, I saw that he...
This is the first volume in another Fables spin-off. A lot of the Fables spin-offs have not been great, and I was a little worried about Bill Willingham focusing on "the ladies" of the Fables series, since he's turning into a bit of a right-wing crank with a stick up his butt about Political Correct...
I actually really liked this one! Beautiful art (some of the best I've seen in the Fables books), and solid writing. I've been kind of bored with Fables lately, and this is the first spinoff I've really enjoyed. It got me excited about the Fables universe again. Yay.
Huge fan of Willingham's work but this was just blah. I know your not suppose to judge a book by its cover, but its a little miss leading. the fact that it shows the ladies; snow white, rose red, beauty and brair rose. Surprisingly enjoyed this one. The art is phenomenal, and it reads a lot faster than Fables so I enjoyed it.

I read through the set of graphic novels covering the fight with the Adversary, and then wasn't paying attention as my husband got the other ones out of the library.Apparently I wasn't missing much there for a while, as Willingham, my husband says, wasn't telli...
warrior fairies!
Fairest is the newest series featuring the world of Fables, and this time it centers on the princesses. In Wide Awake, we follow a thief who tries to rouse two sleeping beauties, and contends with a garrulous fairy who just gets annoying after a while. I remember little bits and pieces of the stor...
